Comfort O. is fifty six years old and is married with six children. She works extremely hard to support her husband to provide food for her family as well as pay the bills. She is a food vendor who sells Kenkey. Kenkey is one of the local dialects prepared from maize and is eaten with hot pepper and fish. Many people enjoy it as breakfast, lunch, and supper. However, production is slowing down due to low working capital. Comfort is requesting a loan to buy more bags of maize, vegetables, fish, and firewood in order to help her expand her production to serve additional customers. She belongs to the community group called Acherensua Batch 1 in which members are guaranteed to one another as social collateral to be able to access loan and peer pressure to repay the loan.
