Anahit has been engaged in food and household goods trading in Yerevan over 12 years. Anahit manages her business from her home. All her family’s members are involved in this business and, thanks to income from their business, they are able to provide for themselves. Anahit buys merchandise for her business from providers. She likes her family’s business very much and she has many regular customers.

Anahit and her family intend to develop their business by beginning khash production. Khash is a traditional Armenian soup, which is in popular demand during the cold season. Anahit and her family will sell khash as a frozen food. Anahit is asking for $3,000 loan with which she will equip a room in her house for khash production.

Anahit is 55 years old. She is married and has three children: two sons and a daughter. Her children are married but they all help their parents in business. Part of business’s incomes goes to their families as well. This is Anahit’s second loan from Nor Horizon.
