Faton is 29 years old, married and has two young children. He lives in a village in the southern part of Kosovo. Based on family tradition, he works in the agricultural business. For quite some time, Faton had been able to own and maintain a cow, but he had to sell it for money for his family about a year ago.
Now Faton is requesting a loan to buy a cow. With this new cow, he will be able to save the money that he would normally need to spend on milk and milk products for his family.
In the future, he hopes to expand this into a farm and to buy a calf as well to sell dairy products. His goal is to secure a future for his children and provide them with a better education.
Faton wants to thank all Kiva lenders for their support.
