Sen was born in 1979. She has four children. There are three children who are learning in the 7th grade, the 4th grade and the 2nd grade. Her youngest child was just born. She and her husband blow plastic things to earn a living. Her family’s total earnings are about 6,500,000 dong (VND) per month.
Sen has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2007. In the last cycle she borrowed 9,184,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 9,632,000 VND to buy metal scraps to recycle. She wants to use the profits to raise her children well.
The Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to create “a society without poverty.” Founded in 2004, SEDA provides microfinance services to low-income and disadvantaged people in rural areas of Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam through its Binh Minh Micro-Finance Program.
