Nyevu is a resident of Kongowea area of Coast province, Kenya. She is a married mother of six school-going children.
She owns a cereals milling machine or posho mill. Besides this, she also sells cereals in the shop. The business has been running for the last three years. Nyevu also keeps indigenous animals.
She learnt about Milango through a friend with an aim of accessing credit to improve the operations of her business. Her main challenge is unstable commodity prices.
Nyevu is applying for a loan of 10,700 KES to buy additional stock of cereals such as maize, millet, sorghum, etc. The extra income from the loan will be added to her savings to increase her income and improve her living standard. She aspires to open other branches in future.
