Ana Mercedes
Ana, 60, is married and has a son. She’s been working raising cattle and pigs for the last four years. She learned this activity thanks to her husband because they used to work together as day laborers in the local sugarcane fields. When they noted that the income they earned working as day laborers was insufficient they decided to fatten up pigs and calves to resell and earn extra income.

The loan she’s asking Fundación Campo for is to buy two calves and two pigs to raise. With this investment she’s sure that in about 8 months she’ll earn income from the sale of those animals. What she wants is to save up to do some home repairs because it’s quite deteriorated.
