Maria
Maria is the owner of a restaurant located in the beautiful city of Bogotá.

She started this business in 1980, when she observed that the location did not have this type of business, and there were many workers did not have a nearby place to eat breakfast and lunch. It was then she began as an entrepreneur, offering breakfast to those who little by little began eating lunch as well. She served ready-to-eat meals and special weekend dishes in her home.

Maria begins work from 4:00 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon.

Her primary customers are teachers in the local district schools, neighbors who know the quality of the food well, and those who save up for meals especially on weekends.

Currently, her dream of growth has not stopped. She knows she has to offer a greater variety in her daily menus in order to be successful and remain competitive. For this reason, she plans to add to her home service and later create another location to sell her prepared meals.

In her 32 years of experience, she knows that she needs to invest, and that loans are an alternative way to grow a business. This is the reason why she is requesting a loan, the first made by Fundación Mario Santo Domingo.

She will use the loan to buy tables, to increase the number of customers from the neighborhood, buy ingredients at wholesale pricing, like meat, fruits, vegetables, and soda, to complement her delicious meals.

In Maria's restaurant, she offers a comfortable environment that pleases her customers so she can make them loyal ones.
