She operates a pub at the market, buying on a wholesale basis. She sells her products on a retail basis. She has been in this business for the last 20 years. She works seven days a week.
She has requested a loan of UGX 2,000,000 from MCDT – SACCO to buy more jerrycans of local gin, food, and serving utensils. Her major business challenges are transportation and seasonality. Her goals and aspirations are to own a delivery van to ease in transport and to own a fully stocked restaurant.
She lives in her own house, and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and paying utility bills.
