Margaret is 30 years old and is married to Mr. Kalama. They have a two-year-old son and live in Msambweni in their own house.
Margaret sells cloth and has been able to have a steady customer base. She also sells fruits and vegetables in the same locale.
With the help from the loan, she will buy bales of cloth so as to be able to increase the quantity and variety of her merchandize and be able to offer a greater variety of items to her customers; that will strengthen her investment.
Margaret wishes to open a general store in future.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
