Mwanamkasi gradually grew her business and has built up a good clientele over many years. She wakes up at 6:00 A.M. and heads to the docks where the fishing boats arrive. She is a married woman with four grown children. With this loan, she wants to buy fish, a frying pan, and cooking oil. Among her goals are to grow her business, to have enough capital to start another business, and to have another source of income.
