This group is formed of three members who have been working with the MFI for five years.

One of them in Luz Marina who is married and has four adult children. For the past four years she has sold firewood, air fresheners and carbon from her house. She will use this loan to invest in buying firewood, chemicals to make air fresheners, gas, etc. Her business has grown as before she only sold air fresheners and now she has diversified her products to include things such as firewood, carbon, gas, etc.

Denise has been selling fried foods from her house for the past three years, Maryuri sells cds and videos wholesale to department stores and also retail.

Grupo formado por tres socias quienes llevan cinco años trabajando con la institución una de ellas es la señora Luz Marina que es casada con cuatro hijos mayores vende leña, ambientadores, carbón en su domicilio desde hace 4 años, el crédito lo invertirá en la compra de leña, químico para hacer ambientadores gas etc. su negocio ha venido creciendo porque antes solo vendía ambientadores y actualmente diversifico sus productos como leñas, carbón, gas etc. Denise vende fritanga en su domicilio desde hace tres años, Maryuri vende cd, video de películas al por mayor a los departamentos y al detalle.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
