Erinah is a single mother of four children. All of her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members.
Erinah has a restaurant. She has been in this business for 8 years. She sells, on retail, to all categories of people. She has applied for a loan of 700,000 Uganda shillings from MCDTSACCO to buy more rice, beans, charcoal, beef, and bunches of bananas. Her major business challenges include seasonality and ever increasing prices of food stuffs in Uganda. She aspires to own a fully stocked restaurant and to buy a plot of land to build her own house. She resides in a rented house and the family has no access to electricity or piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent and school fees.
