Amjad, who appears in the photo, is a 31-year-old man; he is married with no children yet.
Amjad has had a shoe store for two years; it is profitable, and the only source of income for him. However, it needs more support to cover costs.
As a feast is around the corner, Amjad is requesting a 2000 USD loan from FATEN to cover the cost of purchasing a new collection of men, women and children's shoes to resell, and for installing a new sign for the store. This loan will provide a wide range of shoes to resell (which will satisfy his customers and increase the size of his sales), and also to create a new image for the store, attracting more customers.
What distinguishes this project is that it is located in an area with good traffic, and has many loyal customers. Taking this loan will increase sales and improve the family's income, which will enable them to live in better conditions.
