Afrim, 29 years old, is a married male living in Kosovo with his wife and two children. For the last eight years he has worked as a hairdresser in his own business that he shares with his brother. He also has another job in maintenance in a public company where he works from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. During the hours that Afrim is at his other job, his brother runs their business. Afrim runs the business for the remaining hours and on his days off.
Afrim is requesting a loan to buy new chairs and do some renovations for his own business. This loan will help him to develop his business and increase the number of clients. He will use the income generated from the business to support his family. In the future, he plans to develop his business more and to expand by opening another big salon. His goal is to save the money toward the children's education.
He is very happy for this opportunity and wants to thank all Kiva lenders!
