Racheal is 27 years of age and lives with her husband and their three children. She is quite an ambitious young woman who wants to get ahead and have a better life. Some years ago, she started her own business raising chickens. She sells them to different people and businesses.
Racheal is requesting a loan to allow her to increase the quantity of chickens and to buy feed for her chickens, enabling her to offer better customer service.
Racheal wants to greatly expand her business, and she puts much effort into this goal. At her young age, she has demonstrated herself to be a very enterprising young woman with much desire to get ahead.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
