Also, because employment is very limited, the only way to get ahead is working on her own business. She sells clothes for a little over three years. Her sales are as follows: she supplies her business with variety of clothes and in the evenings she goes out to show her products to her friends and clients. Sometimes, she also receives special orders and she supplies them. What she likes the most about her job is that she does it in her spare time and that she has met many people.

She will invest this loan in the purchase of blouses, skirts, dresses, pants, shorts, shirts, and underwear to continue selling. She expects to be able to rent a place in the future, where she can establish her business. Yadira thanks those people who will make possible her loan, and she sends them a strong and affectionate greeting.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
