Lodu is a 30-yr-old businesswoman who lives in Juba. She is married and has three children between the ages of 4 and 10. All of them go to school. Lodu runs a general store and has been in business for six years. She has no employees. She heard about Finance Sudan through other clients. She is taking a loan of 3,500 SDG to purchase sugar, soap, onion, and many other items. Lodu has no other source of income. In 5 years Lodu would like to expand her business. Her major challenges include high prices in the market. Lodu says she is happy for the loans given by Finance Sudan through the help of Kiva.
