This group has 18 members who each have an activity to which they are dedicated. They are all very enterprising women, which is how the group got its name. The ladies are very excited because the sense of mutual support is constant and above all, inspires them to keep fighting for their families. Laura, the president, says that she always tries to inspire her friends to fight for what they want and to not give up. Everything that they do is for their families, to be able to give them a good future without deprivation. Laura is a hairstylist, and she is asking for this loan to buy supplies for her salon, like shampoo, hair rinses, dyes, nail polish, etc., so that she can continue to give good service to her customers.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
