Madeleine
Madeleine is a 59-year-old woman who is married and has a family. She works as a retailer and sells dry goods (maize and beans) at a local market.

She would like to boost her activity and buy more goods (she wants to buy 15 bags of maize and beans). This would prevent her from being constantly out-of-stock.

This loan will not only allow her to meet the needs of an already increasing number of customers, but will also help her to boost her profits.

Madeleine will use these profits to meet the needs of her large family, whom she helps support. In the long run, she will also use them to expand her business.
