Sreang is 39 years old. She is married and resides with her six children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling palm juice for more than ten years, earning approximately $4 daily. Her husband (who joins her in the picture) is a rice farmer who earns about $3 per day. Three of her children are garment workers. They earn about $8 each day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Sreang is requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase farmland to use for farming. This purchase will help her expand her farming business and earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to run a livestock business and help her children earn a higher education. Moreover, she wants to fix her house wall.
