Eduardo
View original language description ↓
Eduardo is married and he has three children: 20 year old Filiberta, who is married; 16 year old María del Carmen, a secondary school student; and 12 year old José Guadalupe, a primary school student. The youngest two still live at home. Eduardo began his business out of necessity, as his salary as a public transportation driver would not always cover the family's expenses. He began in March of 2005, when his wife suggested he participate in a "Tanda" of money in order to invest in some chairs and tables in the part of the house that was in good shape. Since then it has gone very well and he sells food to his co workers who are also drivers, and at this point in time he has a fair number of clients, including his children who help with the business. His idea is to grow and in the future have a bigger, credentialed business. In addition to this business, his wife also sells name brand beauty products and perfume. Clearly they are a very enterprising family.

Now they are asking for a loan of $300 that they will repay in 3 months. They will use it to buy raw ingredients that will permit them to create meals and also to repair some chairs that are in poor condition. With your help, they will continue to meet their goals.
