Nouhoum
Nouhoum is a 51-year-old married man and the father of four children. He lives with his wife and children at his uncle's place in a neighborhood of Bougouni called "Hérémakono Nord".

Having never attended modern [secular] school, Nouhoum got involved in income-generating activities at a very young age. Before buying and selling sheep and goats, he was involved in fishing, but he wasn't very successful. Three years ago, a friend taught him how to buy and sell sheep and goat, and he has been involved in this activity since.

He learned about Soro Yiriwaso through his wife, who is a client of the institution. He decided to join their loan program, and he is on his second loan. He is planning to buy 15 sheep and 20 goats.

Nouhoum buys his livestock in Bougouni and the Wassoulou region and sells at the cattle market in Bougouni and Bamako.

He is expecting monthly profits to reach 80,000 CFA francs and is planning to use his profits to build a house to live in and to expand his business.

Monsieur Nouhoum est un homme marié de 51 ans et père de 4 enfants. Il vit avec sa femme et ses enfants chez son oncle à Bougouni dans le quartier Hérémakono Nord.
N’ayant pas fréquenté l’école moderne, dès son jeune âge il commença les activités génératrices de revenus.
Avant de mener l’activité d’achat et la vente des moutons et chèvres, monsieur Nouhoum faisait la pêche qui ne lui a pas réussi. C’est ainsi que depuis 3 ans il mène l’activité d’ achat et de vente des moutons et chèvres. Il a appris cette activité auprès de son ami.
Ayant fait la connaissance de Soro Yiriwaso à travers sa femme qui est une cliente, il décida de collaborer avec le programme crédit de l’institution avec laquelle il est à son deuxième prêt.
Il compte acheter, 15 moutons et 20 chèvres. Il s’approvisionne à Bougouni et dans le Wassoulou et effectue ses ventes au marché à bétail de Bougouni et une partie à Bamako.
Monsieur Nouhoum compte réaliser un bénéfice mensuel de 80 000 FCFA. Avec ses bénéfices il envisage construire une maison à usage d’habitation et agrandir aussi son entreprise.
