Randy lives in Bayabas, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. He has been earning a living through proving transportation services for 5 years so as to support the needs of his two children. He gets an income of 10,000 PHP a month for this business. For a 40-year-old father, there’s nothing that can make him happier than to see his children successful in their studies.
Without hesitation, Randy is borrowing the amount of 17,000 PHP from GDMPC microcredit to repair the transport vehicle used in his business and provide his children a better education. He joined GDMPC in 2009. His plan in the future is to hopefully improve his business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
