Martín Encarnación, 25, is actually in a relationship and has a son not yet attending school; he completed third grade. He works sewing fabrics like pants and shirts. He started the business with a standard sewing machine and to date has six years’ experience. He gets help from his wife who does the same kind of work.
He organized a group to request a loan that will be used to buy an industrial sewing machine that will allow them to increase production and jobs. They hope in future to have an assembly plant of their own with employees.
The other group members work raising animals and making clothes.
El señor Martin Encarnacion esta unido de hecho, tiene 25 años de edad, cursó los 3 años de educacion primaria, tiene 1 hijo, el cual aun no están estudiando, se dedica a la confección de tejidos, como son, pantalones y camisa, inicio este trabajo trabajando con una maquina mecánica y hasta el momento lleva 6 años de experiencia, cuenta con el apoyo de su esposa quien se dedica al mismo trabajo.
Organiza un grupo para solicitar un préstamo que lo utilizaran, para la compra de una maquina industrial, la cual les permitirá aumentar su nivel de producción y desempeños, esperan en el futuro tener una maquila propio y con empleados. Las demás integrantes se dedican a la crianza de animales y a la confección de prendas.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
