Teimuraz is from a small village in the Baghdati district. He is 58 years old and lives with his wife, son, daughter-in-law and three grandsons (1, 3 and 4 years old). His economic activity is a greenhouse where different kinds of greens are grown. He owns a vineyard as well and picks the grapes in the late summer. He does all relevant seasonal work to insure a good harvest. He produces vodka and wine and sells it in his village. He works hard to make some savings and expand his agricultural business.
Teimuraz requested a loan to install an irrigation system in his greenhouse. After the greenhouse is properly watered, he will be able to harvest more greens and sell them at a good price. This will significantly increase the income of the family. With the increased income, Teimuraz will improve their living conditions.
