Tabu is 49 years old and has been a merchant for more than five years. She is hardworking and dedicated. Tabu is a divorced woman of four children. Thanks to all of her efforts, her children are studying. She says that she never had the opportunity to study. Therefore, her greatest wish is to see all of her children become professionals so that they can have a better future.
Tabu is engaged in the food-selling business, selling in a food stall. The loan she is requesting will be used to buy food flavors, meat, rice, beans and other items of basic necessity so that she can restock her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
