Pauline is a thirty-eight-year-old married man with four children living in Kasese, Uganda. He has been running a retail shop for two years and has rentals as additional income source. After he had three children, he realised that the rent he was collecting from tenants would not substantively support the family so he set up a retail shop. His dreams are to educate his children and expand his business to new areas despite challenges of stiff competition and inflation. Pauline is requesting money to buy rice, sugar and maize flour to sell.
