Đi chợ, a general Vietnamese term, describes the everyday trading activity of small items at village open market. Traders seek opportunity to buy items which can be resold to others at a minimal profit. These items can be anything, including products such as a little fish or a small bundle of vegetables. At times the Traders don't have a stand, but rather sell their wares
directly from their person.
