Chanthou is 33 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been selling dried fish and smoked fish for more than ten years, earning approximately $7 daily. Her husband runs a tilling service and earns about $5 each day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Chanthou is requesting a loan of $1200 to purchase more dried fish and smoked fish to sell. By doing so, she would earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
