Jorge Gregorio

He’s now been working with his wife and children for the last 30 years and noting now that his needs have increased he’s requesting a Q 5,000.00 loan to buy potato and onion seeds as well as organic fertilizer these vegetables need to grow. In this way his family income will increase. He hopes with his income and profits generated in the future to be able to have a business like a grocery store and to provide better education for his youngest children.

Jorge es un hombre de 58 años de edad, quien vive en Sololá, conjuntamente con su esposa y sus 8 hijos 4 de ellos hombres la cual el mas grande estará cerrando su carrera académica al final del año y los otros tres pequeños estudian el nivel primario en la escuela.
También cuatro mujeres que ayudan a don Jorge en el campo y en ocasiones trabajan de oficios domésticos en casas ajenas aportando a la economía de la familia.
El es un hombre trabajador y amable, comenta que el se dedica a cultivar papa, cebolla, frijol, ejote o dependiendo de la temporada del año, esto fue el trabajo que realizaban sus padres y el fue aprendiendo con el pasar del tiempo, cuenta que el estudio el nivel primario en una escuela nocturna trabajando en el día y estudiando de noche aportando a la economía de su familia y sus hermanos.
Ahora el trabaja con su esposa y sus hijos desde hace 30 años, de esta manera ve que sus necesidad aumenta el solicita un préstamo de Q 5,000.00 para comprar semillas de papa y cebolla así como el fertilizante orgánico que utilizan estas verduras para ser cultivadas. De esta manera tener mejores ingresos económicos para toda la familia.
Con todos sus ingresos y las ganancias que le generen en el futuro el sueña con tener un negocio como una tienda de consumo y darle mejores estudios académicos a sus demás hijos pequeños.
