El Esfuerzo is the name of a group made up of 6 women who each work to increase their economic resources and give their family a better quality of life. The group members are: Carolina, who raises pigs; Guadalupe, who sells sodas; Maria del Rosario, who sells sweets; Delfina, who raises pigs; Maria del Carmen, who sells groceries; and Mariana, who sells sodas. This group is located in a community called Guadalupe de Reyes, which is on the edge of the train tracks.

Delfina is a very happy woman who fights for what she wants. She is 30, studied through high school, and is married to Miguel who works as a day laborer. They have 3 children who are in school. She says that 2 years ago she started raising pigs because she wanted to earn a little money and be able to help her husband with the costs of the home. She says "I like this activity because I earn my money and I teach my kids to work since they help me in their free time." She raises the pigs from very small and when they are the right age and size she sells them and earns profits that she invests in the purchase of more pigs, along with paying school fees for her kids.

She will invest this loan in the purchase of two pigs and their feed to continue doing her work. In the future, Delfina would like for her children to be able to study a profession.

El Esfuerzo es el nombre de un grupo integrado por 6 personas cada una de ellas desarrolla una actividad económica con la intención de obtener mas recursos económicos y brindar a sus familia una mejor calidad de vida, las integrantes de este grupo son: Carolina cría de cerdos, Guadalupe venta de refrescos, María del Rosario venta de dulces, Delfina cría de cerdos, María del Carmen venta de abarrotes, Mariana venta de refrescos. Este grupo se ubica en una comunidad de nombre Guadalupe de Reyes el cual esta ubicado a orillas de las vías del tren.

Doña Delfina es una mujer muy alegre y luchadora, ella tiene la edad de 30 años, estudio secundaria y esta casada con Don Miguel el cual trabaja como jornalero, ellos tiene 3 hijos los cuales están estudiando. Ella platica que hace 2 años inicio a trabajar en la cría de cerdos porque quería ganar un poco de dinero y poder ayudar a su esposo con los gastos de su hogar, ella dice "me gusta esta actividad porque gano mi dinero y le voy enseñando a mis hijos a trabajar porque me ayudan en sus ratos libres". Ella cría los cerdos desde muy pequeños y cuando tienen la edad y el tamaño adecuado los vende y es cuando obtiene sus ganancias las cuales invierte en la compra de mas cerdos y sacar los compromisos de escuela de sus hijos. Ella invertirá este crédito en la compra de 2 cerdos y alimentos para continuar realizando su actividad, a Doña Delfina a futuro le gustaría que sus hijos puedan estudiar una profesión.
