Married to an accountant and mother to a 6-year-old child who attends school, Affi is 31 years old and a retailer. She has been selling damask and other fabrics to her customers since 2008, both at home and on the street. The demand is increasing more and more and, as she is not able to satisfy her customers, she is requesting a second loan from WAGES in order to buy pagnes (highly colourful and decorative West African cloth) and other fabrics for women's clothing, so that she can keep her clientèle. She would like to expand her business by opening a shop and to take care of the household expenses, together with her husband.
