Nit is 33 years old. He is married and resides with his mother and three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. He has been making brooms to sell for more than five years, earning approximately $4 per day. His wife is employed in a garment factory and earns about $3 daily. In order to improve his family’s finances, Nit is requesting a loan of $600 to purchase brooms from villagers to resell. By doing so, he would earn more income to support the family. In the future, he would like to expand his business and help his children earn bachelors degrees.
