After earning a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from New York University, Diane started looking for a unique way to combine her passion for theater with her background in education. She founded Pantomina nine months ago. Pantomina is a program that combines Spanish as a second language with appropriate socialization skills through theatrical techniques such as pretend play character development, personality projection and emotional expression. She currently has 10 students between the ages of 18 months and 3 years.
The biggest challenge for Diane has been promoting her work and getting more children and parents into her program. As a start-up, the business needs to improve its educational tools and equipment in order to increase its capacity and quality. She will use the loan to buy new equipment such as a computer with a digital station for the children and a six-seat stroller to carry students around the neighborhood. Support Diane in her goal of developing children's personality through theater!
