Marcos es un hombre agricultor de 39 años de edad, quien vive en Sololá junto a su esposa y con sus 5 hijos dos hombres mayores de edad que lo ayudan en su trabajo. Dos mas que son menores de edad ellos estudian y una hija que tiene capacidades especiales que están cuidado todos.
El se dedica al cultivo de maíz que lo comercializa en el mercado local y cebollines para luego venderlos en algunos restaurantes del departamento.
realiza esta actividad productiva desde que tenia 20 años ya que no tuvo la oportunidad de estudiar esto fue lo que aprendió de su padre cuando aun vivía con el.
De este modo el ve la necesidad de tener mas capital para luego seguir expandiendo esta verdura en mas terreno así que el solicita un préstamo de Q 7,000.00 para la compra de semillas de cebolla, abono orgánico he insecticidas.
Con sus ingresos y las ganancias que le dejen sus cultivos el quiere comprar un terreno para seguir cultivando otro tipo de verduras y seguir mejorando sus ingresos.
