Yawa is 28 years old and lives with her husband, who is a livestock farmer, in Lomé. She has been selling food next to a shop since 2010 and is currently experiencing a slump in sales. She would like to buy some corn, which is why she is requesting a loan from WAGES for the first time. With the profits that she earns, she would like to increase her business and be able to provide an education for her future children.
