They are a very hard working and punctual group and have four cycles with their business and meet in the municipal of Monterrey. Mrs. Noemí is a very active woman who is 54 years old, is married (her husband was a truck driver, but now he is retired) and has two children, one is 29 years old, married and the boss of a famous telecommunications business. And the youngest is soon to be married and works as a truck operator. Noemí has a baking business, which she has been running for 15 years, she started selling her products and she quit her job as a nurse and because her husband left her alone at home a lot because of his job, she didn't like to be there with nothing to do. She sells a lot on festival days and the loan will help her purchase more primary materials like molds, flour, sugar and two chocolate fountains so she can rent the latter. In the future, Noemí would like to have her own bakery since she has a lot of customers and a good reputation as a baker. The group mentions they like to remain small since they think that more people would add strife in their bid to join and in order to pay back the loan, they like to remain a small group and with members they know well.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
