Edith, una mujer de 38 años, que está aplicando a un crédito de Kiva para su negocio, que consiste en ofrecer de servicios de belleza, a sus vecinos del sector donde está domiciliada; Mucha gente de su barrio y de otros sectores, llega directamente a su negocio acceder a sus servicios de cortes de cabello, embellecimiento de imagen y para comprar productos de belleza como cremas, champoo y otras mercancías. Hace 12 años, por la poca oportunidad laboral existente en su municipio, Edith decidió crear su propio negocio y ahora los ingresos la ayudan y puede simultáneamente cuidar su hijo pequeño. Esta es la razón por la cual acude a un credikiva, para comprar productos para su peluquería y vender a sus clientes, artículos a un precio razonable, y en el marco de lo que ellos necesitan comprar. Edith sabe que tener un negocio es mucho trabajo, porque trabaja 12 horas diarias. Porque ella tiene grandes metas de ampliar su espacio, para poder generar empleo para otros. Edith sueña con mandar a su hijo a la escuela, para que él pueda tener una buena calidad de vida, pero conoce que los costos educativos son muy altos y por eso se esfuerza mucho trabajando mucho para aumentar los ingresos familiares y proveer para su familia.
