A loan of $600 helped to purchase grocery items and 'pagne' cloth to sell.

Kossiwa's story

Nicole lives with her husband, a driver, and their six children in Lomé. Four of the six are in school. Nicole is 42 years old. To help out her husband in covering household expenses, she has been selling grocery items and 'pagnes' (the colorful cloth of western Africa) out of her home for ten years. To expand her business and to ensure her children's needs are met, she is requesting her fifth loan from WAGES to purchase some merchandise (grocery items and 'pagne' cloth) to sell and earn profits.
