Josephine is from Samburu in Mombasa, Kenya. She’s a merchant. She has had a store for one year. She is a very hardworking, enterprising person who always strives to the maximum degree to be able to help her family members and to give them everything they need to have a life with no privations or unmet needs.
She’s asking for the loan to buy supplies to stock her store with beverages, canned goods, baked goods and other items to continue having it well-stocked. She is grateful for the support Yehu Microfinance and Kiva gives her.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
