Restituto
Restituto is a 33-year-old married man from the town of San Miguel. He is married with three children ages 1, 3 and 4. His wife works as an auditor. He supports his family by driving a habal-habal (a motorcycle intended to carry passengers to different destinations in remote places) and also farming rice.

He is asking for a loan to buy fertilizer and pesticides for his crops and a spare tire for his motorcycle. A loan will be a great help for his business. His income will be for his children’s healthy diet. He hopes to send them to school someday and see them be successful.

Given the state of devastation following this storm, borrowers living and working in these areas may have difficulty making repayments on their loans, thus making their Kiva loans higher risk. More information >>
