Niko
Niko was born 21 years ago in Galai Dubu village, Pulau-pulau Aru Subdistrict, in North Maluku District. His father works as a carpenter and he has two siblings. Niko is the oldest. He wants to continue his education after finishing Vocational School for Tourism, in Langgur city. He wants to continue his education at the Maritime Academy but his parents can’t give him money for his education because his parents have to be thinking of his two brothers who need to continue their school through Senior High School. His friends told him that in Cilacap-Central in Java, there is a Maritime Academy that can help him pay for his education through the Student Loans Program. Niko asked for this loan to pay for his education fees at the Maritime Academy Nusantara in Cilacap. His dream, when he finishes his education from Maritime Academy, is to have an opportunity to work in The Government Marine Transportation Services in North Maluku.

This loan is part of a YSBS higher education program through affiliate YPPK designed to help high-achieving high school graduates afford higher education at a top maritime academy. Akademi Maritim Nusantara trains students in ship engineering, nautical science, and maritime economics, and helps them find jobs after graduation. By funding this zero-interest loan, you are supporting a student who couldn’t otherwise afford higher education. Students are expected to repay in monthly installments after they are employed.
