Naily, of San Isidro Alto, Sinacaban, helps her family through a business manufacturing lumber. She’s a 27-year-old single woman, who tries her best to earn on her own. For two years, she has managed this business and earns about PHP 4,500 per month.
For the time being, she needs to purchase raw materials to manufacture lumber. She joined GDMPC this year, and thanks GDMPC micro finance for the loan of PHP 5,000 they have provided to her.
Naily desires to improve her business in the future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
