She was admitted by invitation from a promoter of the group who came to her house to visit her. Currently, she has a business that sells spare car parts. She says that she launched the business years ago with the purchase of some parts, which was her initial capital. Then she worked hard and put a lot of effort into increasing her merchandise.

The loan she will take out is to increase her capital (to buy spare car parts), which she will get from importers. She will then sell it in her sales space. This form of work allows her to generate income to support her family as much as possible. She is married and has six children.

When asked about what she likes most about Pro Mujer, Lourdes responded that she likes the health training and the loans.

La A.C. “NUEVO AMANECER BAUTISTA” iniciará el primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Los Andes, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Lourdes es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: tienda de pulpería, venta de verduras, venta de comida, elaboración de prendas, venta de repuestos, macramé de mantas, venta de chompas.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Lourdes es integrante, ella indica que el tercer ciclo que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una promotora de la institución que fue a su casa a visitarla. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de repuestos de movilidad; cuenta que este negocio lo emprendió hace años, con la compra de unos cuantos repuestos, lo que fue un capital básico, posteriormente con esfuerzos y mucho trabajo amplio su mercadería.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de repuestos de movilidad) que adquirirá de las importadoras y posteriormente lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar en lo posible a su familia pues ella está casada y tiene seis hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta las capacitaciones en salud y crédito.
