El señor Efrain esta casado, tiene 40 años de edad, cursó los 3 años de educacion primaria, tiene 5 hijos 3 d4e los cuales están estudiando, se dedica a la siembra y cosecha de café, inicio este trabajo, gracias al apoyo de sus padres y hasta el momento lleva 20 años de experiencia, cuenta con el apoyo de su esposa quien se dedica a los oficios de la casa.

Organiza un grupo para poder solicitar un préstamo que lo utilizara, para la compra de abonos y otros insumos necesarios, para el cultivo de café que realiza, espera en el futuro tener mas terreno para cultivar mas y tener mayor ingreso. Los demás integrantes se dedican a la siembra de café.

About Asociación ASDIR

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
