Mariana is 51 years old and from San Miguel, Bohol. She is married to a farmer. They have three children aged 7, 15 and 20. She relies on growing vegetables like eggplant and string beans for an income. She is asking for a loan to buy fertilizer, seedlings and insecticides to protect her crops from diseases. These will help her get a better return on her investment. She hopes that with this loan she can further expand her business, making the most profit and providing for her family's daily needs, education fees and income out of her harvest. In the future, she hopes to have a bigger farm to cultivate so she and her family can live in comfort.
