Desideria is a 46-year-old woman from Bien Unido, Bohol. She is married with eight children aged between one and 18.
To support her family, she is presently growing rice and investing in a food business in their locality. She makes polvoron (a powdered milk candy, made of flour, sugar butter and powdered milk).
As of now, Desideria lacks the additional capital for her business and she is asking for a loan of 12,000 PHP in order for her to buy flour for polvoron and fertilizer for her farm.
She hopes that her business will improve and will expand in the future thus giving her the opportunity to earn more for her to reinvest, save, renovate her house and educate her children.
