Hoeurn is 35 years old. She is married and resides with one child in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been running the business of purchasing rice to resell for more than ten years, earning approximately $7 per day. Her husband, who is joining her in the picture, is a construction worker who earns about $5 per day. In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Hoeurn is requesting a loan of $800 to raise capital in her business. This will allow her to purchase more rice to sell. By doing so, she would earn more profit to support the family. In the future, she would like to run an additional business and send her children to earn a bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she plans to fix some part of her house to make it more convenient.
