Pech is 38 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in garment factory for more than a year, earning about $4 daily. Her husband (who joins her in the picture) is a rice farmer who earns about $2 each day. One of her children is a garment worker who earns about $3 per day.
To improve her family’s finances, Pech is requesting a loan of $1,300 to purchase a motorbike for her husband to run as a taxi service. This purchase will help her husband generate additional income to financially support the family.
In the future, she would like to build a new house and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
