Digna Piedad
Digna, 22, is a hardworking, unassuming, humble and above all very responsible person at work and at school. Digna lives with her family in Latacunga. She manufactures jeans. This business helps her family meet household expenses and helps her pay for her schooling. At the moment, Digna has a sewing machine that’s not in the best shape and she runs into many delays when trying to make clothes because she wastes time correcting errors. She wants to provide better, quicker customer service and this is why she’s asking for a loan to buy an overlock sewing machine that will improve the quality of the stitching and optimize time quite a bit. This investment will allow Digna to acquire more customers and thus higher income. Digna dreams with having a large clothes making workshop where she can hire staff and become a major micro businesswoman.
